About This Cause

TASSEL (“Teaching And Sharing Skills to Enrich Lives”) is a U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity established in 2012. Its mission is to provide continuous, high quality educational services, free of charge, to underprivileged children in rural Cambodia and to transform hearts of all involved. Using Internet-based video-conferencing, TASSEL volunteers teach English reading, listening, and speaking skills “live” from their homes (or dorms) to Cambodian children, together with local instructors who help translate the volunteers’ lessons. TASSEL volunteers also build awareness as well as help raise funds needed for the program.
