Mission Statement
The mission of the Foundation for East Baton Rouge School System is to enhance education by promoting academic excellence, championing innovation and providing sustained financial support to public schools within the East Baton Rouge Parish School System. In addition to providing grant support for STEM programs system-wide, the Foundation for EBRSS is proud to advance its own unique approaches to STEM education.
About This Cause
The Foundation for East Baton Rouge School System is a tax-exempt public charity and grant-making organization that provides vital support to area students, teachers and school administrators by building effective partnerships and funding high-impact projects for which tax dollars are not available. Our mission is to enhance education, champion innovation and provide sustained financial support to public schools within the East Baton Rouge Parish School System. The Foundation shares its mission with more than 10,000 similar nonprofit organizations nationwide dedicated to improving the quality of public schools and strengthening relationships between school districts and the communities they serve.
