Mission Statement
Underdog Railroad Rescue. We are a small, foster based non-for-profit dog rescue located in Portland Oregon, saving the "last chance" dogs from high kill shelters. We also help re-home dogs when there is no other recourse for the family. Saving one dog at a time is our motto!
About This Cause
URR is 501c3 nonprofit organization working directly with rescue groups in Southern California, Mexico, Alabama and the greater Northwest rescuing dogs who are on their last days in the high-kill shelters or on the streets. We also help place local dogs in need of finding forever homes. Because our dogs are in foster homes we get to know their personalities and needs. As we know them well and how they do in a home environment, we do a great job in matching families with the right dog, and the right family for the dog!
