Mission Statement

Holt’s Chapel Community Center, Inc. (Oriental, Pamlico Co.) mission is to restore one of only 2 Historic African American Rosenwald Schools into a modern community center that will serve as a resource for educational, cultural, economic and health programs in Pamlico County as well continue the interracial and interfaith relations that can help often divided communities move toward mutual understanding and shared goals.
