Mission Statement
Reaching out and expanding the sport of power soccer and vision of enabling any disabled person to achieve the thrill of competition, camaraderie and sportsmanship.
About This Cause
The Midwest Power Soccer Association supports athletes across Minnesota and Wisconsin as they compete locally and nationally in this adaptive sport. These athletes train nearly year-round to compete at both local and national tournaments. With this level of dedication comes great cost to individuals and families when traveling, reserving gym space, and managing equipment. MWPSA also helps by organizing tournaments and providing referee training clinics. The international sport of power soccer is played on a gym floor with four power wheelchairs on each side. The laws of the game are very similar to the running sport of soccer with a few slight variations. Please contact us if you are interested in contributing, learning more about the sport, or volunteering to help bring the sport of soccer to athletes with physical disabilities across the midwest.
