About This Cause
Helping His Hands was established in 2011. We all know that natural disasters are a fact of life and are unfortunately on the rise. Therefore, Helping His Hands is an outreach for individuals, churches, businesses, and organizations to get on board with and impact a hurting humanity. It is nearly impossible to predict when or where a disaster will occur. However, communities can be prepared for what may happen. This equipping readies us for the unexpected and allows a more organized, timely, and efficient response when disaster strikes. Along with the disaster response, Helping His Hands has other sections of its ministry, such as our food pantry that serves around 500 Knox County families a month, our food depot that receives and disperses food items to 14 different food pantries throughout southern Indiana, and our Rampin’ Up for Jesus ministry that builds ramps and low-rise steps for the physically disabled and elderly.
