Our mission aims to foster a culture of lifelong learning, equipping people and engaging communities with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to pursue public-spiritedness in an ever-changing learning society. LearnLong Institute (LIFR) is dedicated to raising the degree of education and learning to address our shared situations in life.

About This Cause

LearnLong Institute for Education and Learning Research (NFP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to charitable purposes under the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. Established as an independent educational think-tank, the Institute has a rich history of engaging with diverse communities to promote lifelong learning. At LearnLong Institute, we recognize that education is not confined to classrooms or specific stages of life. Our charitable services encompass a wide range of initiatives aimed at enhancing adult, higher, and continuing education and all other education levels. Through research, inquiry, and community connections, we strive to address the evolving needs of learners in today's society. Our current programs/initiatives include: Professional Learning and Development: Creating innovative professional learning and development workshops for elementary-secondary education leaders; Research Projects: Conducting studies and analysis on topics relevant to lifelong learning, generating insights to inform policy and practice; Public Awareness Campaigns: Raising awareness about the importance of lifelong learning and supporting equitable access to educational opportunities for all individuals; Educational Resources: Developing and disseminating educational materials and resources, including technology, to support lifelong learners, educators, and educational policymakers. Collaborative Partnerships: Collaborating with academic institutions, government agencies, and community organizations to promote innovative approaches to education and learning. Lastly, looking to the future, LearnLong Institute aims to expand its impact by: Launching new research initiatives to address emerging challenges and opportunities in lifelong learning, such as identifying "learning cities" around the world. Scaling up public awareness campaigns to reach a broader audience and promote a culture of lifelong learning in communities worldwide. Establishing strategic partnerships to enhance the reach and effectiveness of our charitable services, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange across sectors. Through our dedication to education and learning research, LearnLong Institute is committed to creating a more informed, empowered, and resilient society, where individuals have the opportunity to realize their full potential through purposeful lifelong learning.
