We support African immigrant and refugee women and their families to reach their highest potentials.
About This Cause
We are committed to building leadership, advocacy and community action capacity to reduce barriers to health, education, safety and economic independence while fostering an empowering environment that celebrates cultural diversity, families and socioeconomic growth. We do this through a variety of programs- womens' groups, wrap around case management, employment training classes, financial literacy classes, driving school scholarships, CNA training scholarships, mental health forums, leadership training, referrals, and community development. We focus on creating a space for women to come together and create community here in South King County, and support African women to have avenues to contribute and be part of the larger community.
