About This Cause
Hope's Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily smaller dogs, from high-kill shelters and owners who can no longer care for them. By working with our committed volunteers, foster homes and local veterinarians, our goal is to rescue and help as many animals as possible every year. We will provide them with loving temporary care, and find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes. Every animal that we rescue will be spayed/neutered and current on all vaccinations. We also will serve as a resource to our community and all pet owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, the importance of spay/neuter, behavior training and good nutrition. We also have a hospice program for the care of pets that are not adoptable due to age and physical problems.
