Inspired by the life of Alphonsus Liguori, our mission is to prepare our future leaders through individualized learning in a community that offers boundless opportunities.
About This Cause
Founded in 2016, Liguori Academy is career- and college-ready and changing the view on high school education in Philadelphia and beyond. Serving students from the lowest-income areas and providing an education choice to students and families most in need. Liguori Academy meets one hundred percent of students’ financial and educational needs. The core principle of the school is simple; meet every student with Boundless Love and incredible things are possible. At Liguori Academy we recognize no two students’ pathways are the same. In ninth grade our students start a discovery process exploring potential passions and pathways through our rigorous academic curriculum and industry informed career cohorts. The ability to explore these pathways allows students to earn work-ready credentials while still in high school and therefore have more opportunities available. We firmly believe that all students are exceptional and capable of becoming contributors to the economy. The unique approach to education provides each student with a collaborative and personalized curriculum preparing them to be Liguori Ready upon graduation.
