Elijah Rising is ending sex trafficking through prayer, awareness, intervention, and restoration.
About This Cause
Elijah Rising is a non-profit organization that is ending sex trafficking through prayer, awareness, intervention, and restoration in the spirit of Isaiah 1:17. We host prayer and worship events every month. We facilitate awareness van tours of the city as well as house a one-of-a-kind museum showcasing the history of sex trafficking and what it looks like today. We also lead multiple intervention nights where volunteers are trained to bring resources to women trapped in the commercial sex industry. The Elijah Rising Restoration Campus is an expanding housing development that supports a restorative care community for women recovering from commercial sexual exploitation. The goal of this 1-2 year restorative care program is to rebuild lives that have been shattered by the effects of sexual exploitation. Our program provides food, clothing, shelter, 24/7 compassionate care, a family environment, and healthy therapeutic practices. We ensure that all women in our program feel valued, empowered, and hopeful for their future.
