Mission Statement
We are an aftercare program dedicated to transitioning the racehorses from the Pacific Northwest into solid citizens in the equine industry. We will strive to take each horses unique situation and find the home that suits them.
About This Cause
Save A Racehorse is an after care program that takes retired thoroughbred racehorses off the Emerald Downs racetrack in Auburn Washington. Save A Racehorse volunteers work tirelessly to turn each horse into a solid citizen in the equine industry. The program has evolved to allow the founder to live with the horses in order to facilitate each horse to the best of their ability. The end goal is to have every horse in a permanent situation by adopting them out.
