Seeds for Progress is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization aiming to increase the quality of education and health services in rural communities of the coffee-growing regions of Guatemala and Nicaragua.
About This Cause
Seeds for Progress fosters sustainable economic growth and social development, by creating opportunities and alliances that advance the quality of life for students, teachers, their families and communities. Educators and students, from primary and secondary schools, are trained to become active agents of change for sustainable development. Seeds for Progress promotes the use of local knowledge, technology and the active participation of families and communities in the process of improving the quality of education.
