About This Cause
Chicago City Soccer Club prides itself on professionalism, passion, and dedication to provide a unique soccer experience within the Chicago community. Our club fosters a culture that nurtures intellectual, cultural, social, and physical development through soccer. As the only Illinois 5 Star Club in the City, CCSC provides the most comprehensive programming for its players creating many opportunities through the sport of soccer. CCSC PHILOSOPHY To create a fun, enjoyable, yet challenging environment where players learn to have the confidence to be creative and express themselves freely. For teams to play smooth, flowing soccer with high level of understanding for the game and knowledge of positional roles and responsibilities. As a non-profit organization we are actively looking to give our players the best soccer experience they can receive in Chicago. For a soccer club in the city - two of our main barriers are fields and costs. There are limited affordable fields across Chicago that are open to youth clubs - especially during the winter. Along with this, we want to make professional soccer coaching open to every youth in the city. Since establishment in 2012, we have given over $150,000 in soccer scholarships to families that are financially limited. As we have grown due to our dedication to player development, the demand for soccer scholarships has grown and we have reached a point where we have had to turn away requests for financial aid. For the 2017/2018 we are planning on giving $80,000 in scholarships to ensure that we continue to provide the best possible experience for all members of our club and to continue providing the best service we can to youths across the Chicagoland area. Each player fee goes straight back into maintaining the club with regards to administration, coaches & most of all playable fields.
