About This Cause
City of Refuge staff and volunteers have been deeply rooted in the Oak Park community of Sacramento for more than 20 years serving families and individuals needing a little extra help. We accomplish our mission through deeply rooted neighborhood connections, a busy resource and activity center, engaging youth development and workforce training programs, emergency and transitional housing, counseling services, life improvement classes, and thoughtful guidance to valuable community services. We serve our neighbors with compassion, humility, and love; ensuring justice and equity for all. Daily, we see lives restored, families empowered, and our community growing strong.
