Mission Statement
Founded as the World of Warcraft guild, Anxiety Gaming, we are a group of gamers fighting for mental health care as a human right. We are working to remove the two greatest barriers to mental health: access and affordability, by providing a universal mental health care system. To date, Rise Above The Disorder has helped over 48,000 people receive free mental health care.
About This Cause
What began as one gamers quest to help others struggling with mental health issues has evolved into Rise Above The Disorder, a global non-profit changing mental health care. Too many people are unable to access the mental health care they deserve. We're changing that reality. Rise Above The Disorder is dedicated to creating a world where all people have access to hope, health, and happiness they deserve. We're doing this by running a revolutionary universal mental health care system, created and sustained by the gaming community. Our system has been celebrated by the WHO, presented to the United Nations, and empowered more than 36,000 people to recieve the care they deserve.
