We provide grief training and education for adults working with children and teens or for those who wish to learn more. Offerings include: Grief Education Trainings (for schools, community organizations, or the public) Grief Backpack Initiative for Schools (provides training, resources, and tools that can be used individually, with peers, or in concert with school staff; available for national distribution) In-Community Resource Kit (provides resources and tools to facilitate conversation and connection with grieving kids) Advocate. Death is a traumatic adverse childhood experience; children left unsupported in their grief often succumb to poorer outcomes later in life. We raise awareness of grief as a public and mental health issue through national, state, and community events and partnerships, as a member of the National Alliance for Children’s Grief (NACG), and through our Talk About Grief travelling art exhibit.
