Mission Statement
TAOGA is a youth leadership mentoring program for high school students. We believe in developing youth leaders to impact communities.
About This Cause
The Academy of Goal Achievers youth leadership mentoring program enables youth to become youth leaders and be prepared for their postsecondary educational and career goals. The youth leadership mentoring program is a four year intensive program that allows students access to monthly leadership developing classes, college and career exploration activities, academic support services (tutoring, school visits and meetings), parent educational sessions, positive peer group, community service projects, college admission assistance and individual and group L.E.A.D. sessions. We preferably target high school freshman and they commit to the program for four years. The program is located in a coworking space with other nonprofits and small businesses. As a program we have been able to leverage the space to increase community collaboration, exposure and a more convenient location for our families.
