The Arc Jefferson - St. Lawrence Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and building a better future for people with disabilities supported by The Arc Jefferson - St. Lawrence.
About This Cause
For 70 years, The Arc Jefferson - St. Lawrence (formerly the Jefferson Rehabilitation Center and St. Lawrence NYSARC) has proudly served people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Jefferson County and now also in St. Lawrence County. The Arc JSL provides vocational, residential, adult day programming, day care, early intervention and preschool services to over 1000 children, young adults and adults. In 2012 The Arc Jefferson - St. Lawrence Foundation, Inc. was formed (formerly the Jefferson Rehabilitation Center Foundation) to provide financial support to The Arc JSL programs and services as Federal and State funding sources started to be reduced. Our fundraising dollars are used to provide equipment and supplies not supported by government sources, as well as to supplement services needed and requested by those we provide services to. Our core values are based on our agency motto P.R.I.D.E. - Personal Growth, Responsiveness, Inclusion, Dignity, and Excellence.
