Mission Statement
WHERE THE LOVE IS, INC. IS A 501(C)3 ALL-VOLUNTEER GROUP ESTABLISHED IN 2013 AS A NONPROFIT ANIMAL RESCUE ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO SAVING HOMELESS ANIMALS AND PROVIDING THEM WITH NECESSARY MEDICAL CARE, INCLUDING SPAYING AND NEUTERING, BEFORE PLACING THEM IN LOVING HOMES.
About This Cause
We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 organization, formed in July of 2013 as a Connecticut nonprofit corporation. We take dogs from high-kill shelters, and they are then spayed or neutered, tested for diseases and parasites, and given appropriate shots and medical/dental care. We then attempt to match the dog's personality with the lifestyle and needs of persons willing to adopt. The dogs are placed in safe and loving volunteer foster homes while waiting for adoption. Our activities are totally supported by donations and fundraisers, and we are very grateful for any assistance we receive.
