Mission Statement
To enable economically disadvantaged single parents to improve the quality of their lives and their children's lives and attain self-sufficiency through post-secondary education.
About This Cause
It is not easy to be a single parent and complete your own education. Single parents must find time to work enough hours to pay the bills, meet the needs of their children), study, do homework, and get to class on time. ESSP can help financially. We are also an information resource. We know things like how to find a math tutor, who will do car repairs for a fair price….. Scholarships my be used for anything needed to be able to continue your education (car repairs child care, medical bills…) Scholarships are awarded one semester at a time. Recipients are encouraged to to apply for scholarship renewal. The first half of a scholarship is awarded after census date and the remaining half at the end of the semester..
