Mission Statement
Our mission is to bring a better life to our community of families, veterans and seniors, by locating those in need and providing nutritional foods, access to fuel assistance, health screenings, addiction services and other resources as needed.
About This Cause
The Wolcott Resource Center – Food Pantry (WRC) has provided delivery of food, paper goods, toiletries, and cleaning supplies for needy families in the community. The volunteers at the food pantry have performed these activities on weekdays in the town of Wolcott, Connecticut. This supports our exempt purpose by actively providing the people in the community with these services that contribute to the health and vitality of the community. The percentage of time allocated to this activity is 87% with the remaining 13% of our time being spent in administrative activities and fundraising. Our funding comes from the donations received through our fundraising activities.
