Mission Statement
Hopeful Tails Animal Rescue is a no-kill dog rescue in the Joliet area founded by a group of dedicated, caring volunteers wanting to MAKE A DIFFERENCE in the lives of abandoned, abused and neglected animals. We have volunteer experience from prior rescues and humane societies and are looking forward to an exciting journey together to help and save these unfortunate animals. We are a non-profit, 501c3 organization with no government funding and rely solely on donations from individuals, businesses and the community.
About This Cause
Hopeful Tails Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs, from high-kill shelters and owners who can no longer care for them. We work with committed volunteers, foster families, local veterinarians, and trainers, to provide the animals with loving temporary care, and find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes. We also serve as a resource to our community and all pet owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition.
