Mission Statement
The Friends of Hoop Seattle (FOH) AAU Basketball program is a non-profit organization that uses basketball to reach out to elite players in the Pacific Northwest. We are a privately funded organization committed to providing an avenue for young boys and girls to play basketball at the highest level. We are here to mentor and develop these top tier young boys and girls and provide them with positive goals, leadership and life skills. They will learn the values of dedication, discipline, and teamwork. Each of our players is hand selected.
About This Cause
At FOH Seattle, we believe playing sports at a high level is a privilege, which is why we have a strong focus on academics, personal and team behavior. We feel that basketball is a safe, supported place for these kids to exercise, socialize, and develop skills that will be useful throughout their lives. Exercise is very important to our young children’s health, both physically and mentally. As concerned volunteers and workers, it is our desire and goal to provide the tools for all of our players to reach their full potential both on and off the court. Given today’s economic times, and family budget constraints, we are in need of your help! We invite you to join us as a SPONSOR. Your individual sponsorship can be used to show your gratitude and love for our young player’s dedication and commitment! Perhaps most importantly, the financial support that we receive will provide the resources to ensure that no child will be turned away for financial reasons. FOH Seattle is a 501c3 Non-Profit Corporation and is exempt from Federal income tax under section 501c3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to FOH Seattle are deductible under section 170 of the code.
