Mission Statement
NAPA Center Kids Foundation provides grants for assisting families with equipment purchases, sponsorship for community programs, or, if needed, alternative treatments to help their child reach their full potential.
About This Cause
In the spirit of hope, courage and caring, NAPA Center Kids Foundation was created to provide financial assistance for children with disabilities, so that they may develop to their full potential. Funds provide access to participation in innovative therapies, equipment needs, and support integration into the community. NAPA Center Kids Foundation offers educational programs to serve both caregivers and community practitioners. We serve as a vehicle to support awareness and outreach on pediatric disability. NAPA Center Kids Foundation provides grants to parents to help defray the high costs of therapy for their children. Innovative therapies such as stem cell treatments and intensive therapy programs are the types of therapies that grants may provide for the children. The equipment needed by a child with special needs is often extensive. Many times this equipment is not covered or only partially covered by insurance companies. NAPA Center Kids Foundation gives grants to help cover equipment costs for children including, communication devices, bath chairs, wheel chairs and gait trainers. As part of its outreach, NAPA Center Kids Foundation supports the inclusion of children with special needs into the community by funding participation in camps and local programs. We also provide educational courses and support groups for children and their families.
