Mission Statement
The Community Cancer Fund is dedicated to fighting cancer in the Inland Northwest by funding local cancer prevention and screening programs, supporting cancer patients and their families at every stage of their illness and recovery and funding groundbreaking local research.
About This Cause
The Community Cancer Fund was founded by a group of passionate community leaders determined to fight cancer at the local level. Moved by it's own experiences with cancer, this group is determined to devote more resources to cancer screening, prevention, treatment and research in the Inland Northwest. Through it's community partnerships, CCF works collaboratively with existing regional cancer organizations to identify and fund gaps in services and is committed to investing donated funds into local programs that benefit Inland Northwest families. LOCAL The only way to fight cancer at the local level is to invest in local programs and local research. That means donations made to Community Cancer Fund will be reinvested in our community to fund life-saving screenings, support cancer patients and their families and drive cutting-edge research and therapies. COLLABORATIVE We believe we can get more done in the fight against cancer when we work together. We will continuously work to share ideas and resources with the Inland Northwest’s leading medical providers, non-profit organizations, patient advocates and private entities to identify unmet needs and support cancer patients and their families throughout their entire cancer journey. INNOVATIVE We believe Inland Northwest cancer patients deserve access to cutting-edge treatment options. By investing in the Inland Northwest’s dynamic medical community and funding local research, we aim to give local cancer patients access to clinical trials and innovative therapies that result in better outcomes. DYNAMIC If there’s one thing we’ve learned from cancer, it’s to embrace life. We will strive to empower our community, to share stories of hope, celebrate life and always demonstrate compassion to those impacted by cancer.
