Mission Statement
The Mission of YES is to provide youth in crisis a place of physical and emotional safety while assisting them to build positive relationships and develop skills for self-sufficiency.
About This Cause
YES House is a full-time, year-round shelter for youth ages 10-17. Providing access to basic needs; shelter, food, clothing, and safety. Our fully trained and supportive staff (along with our wonderful volunteers) run the shelter 24 hours a day. Along with the shelter, YES provides additional resources for youth 10-24 with transitional and regular housing, job search, school completion, learning to drive, or going to college. Some other services that we offer include mediation, AA/NA groups, Community Health Worker, Outreach Coordinator, housing assistance and assistance in accessing other community services. We are dedicated to finding solutions and resources to address the problems the youth are facing. Finally, as our youth transition out of services, we provide follow-up to ensure their success.
