Mission Statement
Our mission is to build an educational community rooted in trust, empowerment, inclusivity, and community, and to see all historically excluded students succeed, not only in our programs but also in their long-term life goals. We design and deliver highly sought-after skills training and experiences in STEM industries, and pave pathways that lead students toward economic empowerment and sustainability.
About This Cause
iUrban Teen is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization that creates experiential learning experiences and programs for Non-Traditional STEM Learners. iUrban Teen is a nationally recognized program focused on bringing STEM+Arts education to historically excluded youth ages 13 to 18. Through interactive summits, STEM industry tours, and ongoing specialized training, iUrban youth receive hands-on exposure to a variety of STEM+Arts careers to step outside their current boundaries. Our programs are inclusive to all youth who fall within the Non-Traditional STEM learners category. Our programs include iCode, iMAP (GIS Mapping), iSpeak (Public Speaking), Engineering, Cybersecurity, Environmental, Music & Math, STEM Industry Tours, and Mentoring. Honors include: White House Champion of Change for Technology Inclusion.
