Serving Orphans & Widows Ministries exists to provide individualized care & support for orphaned children and widowed women in need.
About This Cause
Serving Orphans & Widows Ministries is an approved 501c3 organization that works to help orphans and widows in desperate need. We believe that every person deserves to have access to basic things like clean drinking water, food, clothing, and an education. Orphans & widows are often forgotten, their rights are often overlooked and neglected. We work to ensure they have the basic necessities to life. We help by providing sustainable solutions that will allow access to these essential needs. This work includes, but is not limited to, water well projects, farming projects, construction/remodel work, providing educational resources, including tuition assistance, uniforms, books & supplies as well as monthly financial assistance for needs such as propane, electricity, water, gas, etc. In addition to the above mentioned work, we are in the process of building a home specifically to meet the needs of infant and toddler care. This home will provide excellent care for up to 9 babies/toddlers at one time. These vulnerable kids will be loved and cared for while they have the opportunity for adoption, if possible. Those who are not adopted will transition to a family home with loving parents that will care for up to 8 kids per house. This community will have the capacity to care for 50 children through loving families in good homes.
