Mission Statement
Jake's Wish Dog Rescue (JWDR) is an all-volunteer, nonprofit animal welfare organization whose mission is to save at-risk dogs from our local shelters as well as our community.
About This Cause
Jake's Wish rescues dogs of all ages from puppies to seniors, including many dogs that have been severely neglected or may need extensive veterinary care. In addition to our partnership with shelters in San Jose and Santa Clara County, we are also saving dogs from under resourced shelters in Fresno, Hollister, Los Banos, Salinas, and beyond. Since 2014, Jake's Wish has rescued 1,100+ dogs. Our wish is simple – a home for EVERY dog! Your support makes this wish come true for the many dogs who depend on us!
