Mission Statement
INCO Community Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to break the greatest barriers disadvantaged and marginalized populations face on their journey to success. By designing and operating workforce development programs for disadvantaged communities, INCO aspires to empower each and every individual to reach their full potential so they can thrive. We leverage innovation and in-demand skills in future-oriented industries to create opportunities for a more diverse workforce to thrive in sectors shaping the new economy.
About This Cause
INCO builds and scales workforce training and start-up acceleration programs around the world. Our programs are 100% free for participants. Our training programs provide the technical and soft skills aligned with emerging green and tech jobs. All our learners are under or unemployed and over half are women. We specifically support young adults that are neither working nor in school as well as migrants, refugees and asylum seekers. Our start-up acceleration programs support emerging entrepreneurs tackling important social and environmental issues. We provide strategic guidance, industry mentors, and access to a network of investors. In the nonprofit space, INCO also plays a role in deploying capacity-building tools and solutions for other NGOs and nonprofits wishing to make the most of online tools to further their impact. Across our programs, we connect corporate partners and their employee volunteers with participants to enhance learning and create community.
