Mission Statement

Hildegard House provides a home and compassionate care for individuals at the end of life who have no home or family so that they may die with dignity.

About This Cause

We fill a gap that Hosparus cannot fill, we do not duplicate any services. We are volunteer run. Volunteers provide the care a family would provide. We do not charge our residents or bill insurance. We are located in a former convent in the historic neighborhood of Butchertown, in Louisville, Kentucky. We can serve three individuals at a time, which averages around 52 people a year. We are not a licensed facility, we are a home for those that have no home at the end of their life.
