About This Cause
Partnership for Shelter Animals NYC is a volunteer-run charity dedicted to improving the lives of NYC's shelter animals by donating critical medical and care supplies, partnering with local rescue groups to save at risk animals, and promoting adopting, volunteering and fostering. We launched The Hungry Pet Project, a Covid-Relief effort, in April 2020 to help financially struggling pet owners feed their pets. We partner with local food pantries to get pet food to those most in need. Our hope is that by helping people feed their pets until they get back to work, that we can keep pets in their homes and out of the shelter. Pets are family.
