By providing these programs free of cost, it has enabled students from low-income families to access quality education and resources that they may not have been able to afford otherwise. This has helped to level the playing field and create opportunities for all children to succeed. The programs help to address the disparities in access to resources that can help students reach their full academic potential, such as tutoring, mentorship, and college preparation. The programs also help to create a sense of community and belonging, which can be especially important for children from low-income families that may not have access to the same resources and opportunities as their more affluent peers. We are Introducing youth to a culture rooted in success because we want our youth to be able to try new things to eliminate multi-generational poverty. If they believe it, they can conceive it. Children living in communities of concentrated poverty are more likely to attend schools with high dropout rates and low test scores, and to live in neighborhoods with higher crime rates. Evidence has shown that when children from low-income families participate in quality after-school programs, they see positive outcomes. Consistent participation in high-quality out-of-school programs has helped close the achievement gap between children from low-income families and their more affluent peers. This has enabled us to create lasting connections and experiences that allow us to further our mission, while also providing an opportunity for each individual to reach their highest potential.
