Mission Statement
The Total You presents, seminars, conferences and workshops designed specifically to address youth, women and their families. We are able to guide and provide solutions to life's everyday challenges by using the Arts as a creative learning vehicle of resources and entertainment.
About This Cause
The Total You provides programs, conferences, seminars and workshops that address teen issues such as bullying, peer pressure, school shootings and various other issues youth face on a day to bases. These programs also focus on building self –esteem, self-worth and self-awareness. Youth are trained in the arts and participate in local community projects such as health and wellness events, school district Gala Functions, half time basketball game performances at the Los Angeles Staple Center, Major Hotel chain fashion shows, high school musicals and more. For over 20 years, The Total You has and will continue to team up with other charitable organizations, local businesses and various school districts to bring mentoring programs and other avenues of community services. Our recent project “The JumpStart “2” Life Women’s Health, Wellness & Fitness Conference, scheduled for May 5, 2019, will be designed to creatively encourage, enrich and empower today’s Woman. Enabling her to be a fortress and strength to herself and her family. We are asking for sponsorships and donation support to make this conference a resource available to all women no matter what their social or economic status. We plan to provide indiscriminately excellent, professional products, curriculum and facilitators to all who attend. Classes are uniquely structured to include pertinent industry information and demonstrations. While class participation activities help convey through the expression of dance, drama and the arts the importance of health, wellness and fitness. Programs, and curriculum presented at the "JumpStart "2" Life Conference are structured to build Women socially, mentally and physically. Not forgetting our youth, a team derived from local youth in the area will be trained by The Total You to present a performance at this conference.
