Mission Statement
Austin International Drag Foundation Inc. is the first 501c3 public charity dedicated to the advocacy of Drag artists and their place in the worldwide arts community.
About This Cause
Austin International Drag Foundation Inc. (www.internationaldrag.org ) is a 501c3 public charity and the world's first nonprofit dedicated to the education, support and advancement of Drag artists worldwide. As part of our mission we wish to help Drag artists gain larger audiences by providing them with opportunities to show their performances via festivals, theater, concerts, film, television, and social media. Our first and primary event each year is the Austin International Drag Festival (www.austindragfest.org) a 100% volunteer run nonprofit festival. Any profit received at the festival is filtered back into future events/opportunities to help advance the Drag community. Any further profits will be given to select like-minded nonprofits and charities that provide social services for the Drag and Transgender communities.
