Mission Statement
JMOMS: A community of mothers who embrace Jewish values and who take responsibility for sharing Jewish values with their families and communities, including an 8 day educational experience in Israel.
About This Cause
JMOMS was established in 2016 to be the Seattle partner with JWRP, the Jewish Women’s Renaissance Project (www.jwrp.org), a non-profit organization that sponsors a subsidized 8-day educational experience in Israel for Jewish moms from around the world, followed by 12 months of continuing educational programming at home. The JWRP trip inspires each mother to develop a more meaningful connection to one’s Jewish “sisterhood,” one’s Jewish community and to Israel. JMOMS grassroots work assures Seattle’s annual participation on the JWRP journey. JMOMS is non-discriminatory and has no affiliation with any group or movement.
