Mission Statement
Redlands Friends of Shelter Animals (REDFOSA) is an all-volunteer non-profit group in the City of Redlands, California. The specific purpose of this group is to save the lives of homeless pets in and around Redlands through coordination with the Redlands Animal Shelter, regional shelter partners, animal rescue groups, veterinarians, and trainers; through community education and awareness campaigns supporting pet adoptions, pet fostering, pet reunification, adoption counseling and adoption support, and the importance of spay/neuter; and through volunteer assistance to support off-site adoption events and fundraising campaigns that benefit local animal shelters, primarily the Redlands Animal Shelter.
About This Cause
We are an all volunteer non-profit that assists in raising money for medical needs for shelter animals. Often, city budgets do not allow for certain treatments that some animals may require. We also help with adoption fees when shelters get full, provide spay and neuter services to the community, as well as, offer free microchip and vaccine clinics.
