Mission Statement
Taha Islamic Center is a religious, nonprofit, and nonpolitical organization. The fundamental purpose Taha Islamic Center is to encourage and to enable Muslims to acquire the basic knowledge and competence in Islam in order to contribute individually and collectively toward meeting human needs in conformity with Islamic doctrines and beliefs.
About This Cause
Taha Islamic Center was formed as a local Islamic community based on the principles of Quran and Sunnah of Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him). Some of the objectives that Taha Islamic Centre strives for are: 1) Arrange and hold congregational prayers and religious festivals at appropriate times and locations. 2) Represent the general cause of Muslims and provide Islamic counseling to Muslim community, including youth, seniors and families. 3) Make Islam better understood by Muslims and Non-Muslims, and promote understanding between them. 4) Work towards a harmonious relationship with the extended community. 5) Cooperate with other Islamic organizations in California and USA while conducting religious, educational, cultural, social and other relevant activities.
