The mission of the Taya and Chris Kyle Foundation- Service Family Strong (TACKF) is to Honor God, Country, and Family, and is focused on changing the world for this generation and the next by recognizing and strengthening first responder and military marriages.
About This Cause
The Taya and Chris Kyle Foundation- Service Family Strong (TACKF) was founded by Taya Kyle to honor the life and legacy of service of her husband, “American Sniper” Chris Kyle. All too often, the family support network of those serving our country – either on the military frontline or as first responders – can be overlooked or forgotten. The pressures that are a natural outcome of this dangerous and stressful work can often result in damaged relationships that fracture the family unit creating additional stressors on those who serve as well as the family members that support that service. Chris Kyle – the author of New York Times Best Selling book – American Sniper – and his wife, Taya, knew all too well the issues encountered by military personnel and first responder families. Prior to his untimely passing in February 2013, Chris was working on his vision for the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation to provide experiences for service and first responder families to work through many of the difficulties he and Taya had experienced post-deployment. Today, Taya and the TACKF Team are dedicated to fulfilling Chris’ vision through the development and delivery of life-changing, impactful programs and services to service couples across the U.S. TACKF is focused on changing the world for this generation and the next by recognizing and strengthening first responder and military marriages. TACKF develops and delivers programs that support having a country with thriving and connected military and first responder marriages. The TACKF team are professionals who understand what it means to live a service-oriented life, who believe in the power that God, Country and Family can provide to an individual and a marriage, and create programs and experiences which will strengthen and support service marriages and families.
