Our mission is to inspire and enable young people from Pawtucket and surrounding communities, especially those with greatest need, to realize their full potential as healthy, productive, responsible, and caring citizens.
About This Cause
Our mission is to help those youth who as noted above are at high-risk of falling through the cracks. We seek to inspire and enable the young people of Pawtucket and surrounding communities, especially those with greatest need, to realize their full potential as healthy, productive, responsible and caring citizens. To help reach that goal, each afternoon, youth members choose from a selection of activities every hour; these activities support the goals set in our priority areas (Academic Success, Confident Self-Expression through the Arts, Good Character & Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles) either directly or through the incorporation of high-yield learning activities into fun and engaging programs. Direct education programs include: homework help, tutoring in math and reading, science programs and activities, lessons in our technology labs and much more. We also offer college and career counseling to help teens transition into successful adults.
