Mission Statement
Project Minnie is dedicated to providing pets of the homeless with food, supplies, vaccines and resources.
About This Cause
Project Minnie operates in Venice, CA providing pets of the homeless and low income with food, water bowls, leashes, harnesses, collars, sweaters, vaccines, flea treatment and veterinary resource education. We walk the Venice boardwalk not only to distribute pet supplies, but also to discuss the importance of vaccinating, spay/neutering and positive training techniques. Additionally, we are stationed in a local haven for homeless youth where we offer supplies and resources to their pets. We believe having open, non-judgemental and caring conversations with homeless pet owners is the best way to improve the lives of homeless companion animals and preserve the human animal bond.
