Mission Statement
The MVLCF is a nonprofit, volunteer organization dedicated to raising and managing funds for the enhancement and capital improvement of the public library of Mont Vernon, New Hampshire. A new library with adequate facilities to support larger collections and programming for all age groups will enhance Mont Vernon’s downtown and position us for the future.
About This Cause
The MVLCF was formed by a group of citizens concerned about the library’s future. In July of 2015, the organization received its status as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization and is registered with the New Hampshire Department of Justice Charitable Trust’s Unit as an organization in good standing. We are committed to minimizing the tax impact of the new library project. The foundation, comprising 6 board members, is all volunteer.
