Mission Statement
Hacker Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity that provides resources for computer science education: hackathons, camps, mentors & volunteers.
About This Cause
Hacker Fund organizes hackathons and computer science events for students via its group of mentor & volunteers. The organization trains and provides a volunteer mentor force that travels to teach kids how to code using industry-specific curriculum. Hackathons are 24-36 hour overnight events in which students get together to solve technical challenges, innovate new ideas, and form relationships that start companies. Hacker Fund partners with school administrations to inspire leadership among the high school students and facilitate a commitment to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) in various communities.
