Mission Statement
Dunedin Cares is a client-choice food pantry that exists to eliminate food insecurity by providing food to those in need within our local community.
About This Cause
Dunedin Cares Inc. is a 501©3, not for profit neighborhood food pantry, that serves the residents of Dunedin, Clearwater, Palm Harbor, Safety Harbor and Tarpon Springs. All located in the northern area of Pinellas County. Our facility includes warehouse storage for donated food as well as a distribution center. Our participant base are individuals and families who need help putting food on the table. Dunedin Cares Inc. is not part of the city of Dunedin. We rely on many organizations for financial support in kind services and non-cash donations. Volunteers and Directors staff the operation. Regular speaking engagements are done with local civic groups, churches and merchant associations in order to educate the people of the services of Dunedin Cares. We also do articles for local publication and public service announcements on city television.
