Mission Statement
Dhadkan is an organization that aims to become a model for a community-driven think tank where local leaders combine skills, energy, and passion for culture to create a positive environment for minorities in a community, foster collaboration within surrounding organizations, and empower underprivileged sectors across the world.
About This Cause
The Dhadkan organization has hosted events across California, all contributing to our vision of 'philanthropy through artistry'. With Nachle Deewane, an annual national dance competition in Santa Barbara, CA, we host over 200 collegiate dancers from across the country in front of over one thousand audience members, and donate all proceeds from the show to a hand-selected charity. These charities have ranged from India Literacy Project to Ekal Vidyalaya.
