Mission Statement
The mission of the Hippocratic Cancer Research Foundation (HCRF) is to discover, develop and implement effective new treatments for patients with cancer by advancing groundbreaking research at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University. HCRF provides philanthropic support to fund interdisciplinary research teams at the Lurie Cancer Center, empowering world-class investigators to join forces, address the most urgent cancer questions and make daring and innovative discoveries.
About This Cause
The Hippocratic Cancer Research Foundation (HCRF) was established in 2015, priding ourselves on funding 100% “out of the box” research. By augmenting NCI research grants, we provide gap funding that removes barriers from developing new and innovative treatments with remarkable potential for advances in cancer care. All funds raised by HCRF accelerate cutting-edge translational research of an elite group of scientists and clinicians at the Robert H Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University. They are at the forefront of precision medicine and with our help they will eliminate cancer as a cause of death.
