Mission Statement
The purpose of Chinmaya Mission is to provide to individuals, from any background, the wisdom of Vedanta and practical means for spiritual growth and happiness, enabling them to become positive contributors to society.
About This Cause
To provide an organized means for the maintenance and promotion of the best of Indian cultural values in the greater Sacramento region. To plant the seeds of Vedanta in children, and to teach vedantic principles to families. To provide a supportive peer group to those of Indian origin that will help families teach their children about their heritage, and serve as a source for information, inspiration, role models, and friendship
