About This Cause
MOSAIC celebrates its 30th anniversary of quality public service along the Wasatch front in Utah where 90% of the Utah population resides. It’s mission statement is “In the World, and in the Community for Good!” with significant programs in: 1) in-home senior assistance; 2) economic immigrants and refugee integration services; 3) basics to employment for Utahns experiencing barriers of culture, language and skills/education gaps; 4) Disaster Response with emphasis on health and diverse populations. Extremely low-income clients, measured at 185% of the federal poverty level, are served through Green Waters Health Center, Manna Market Food Justice Programs, and More Blue Sky Employment Center on-site at MOSAIC in the heart of Salt Lake Valley. Annual statistics are listed for each program area on our website (LSSU.org) under the "About Us" tab, under Annual Report. Annually, MOSAIC serves 1 in 25 Utahns. For every $1 in cash donation, MOSAIC multiplies that by $25.61 in real, in-kind, donations. MOSAIC’s annual budget with in-kind donations is at the five million dollar mark.
