The Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy's mission is to accelerate the development of breakthrough immune therapies to turn all cancers into curable diseases.
About This Cause
Founded in 2016 by Silicon Valley entrepreneur and philanthropist Sean Parker, at our core is the operation of our academic research hubs, leaders in immune-oncology, autoimmunity, synthetic biology, and other frontiers in medicine across the country. In less than 10 years, PICI has supported an incredible of 340+ research projects and clinical trials at our Network centers, but we know there is so much more to do to ensure treatments reach those most in need. Pioneering a novel collaboration model, we not only fund research programs, we also help steward the basic science discoveries created by our investigators to the clinic and beyond. Our holistic approach to our partnerships ensures we can drive our network’s research forward from discovery, and ultimately, to patients.
